Apple Crisp

I love love love apple crisp. It’s super easy and simple and tastes amazing. Here’s the recipe for it, it’s taken out of a Betty Crocker cookbook (it’s called apple betty in there, way to name things after yourself Betty…)

  • 4 cups sliced, peeled apples (granny smith apples are best)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup (sifted) flour
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal (about, can use more or less)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. First slice and peel apples and put in glass baking dish (8×8-ish sized). Mix together sugar, flour, spices, and a dash of salt. Cut in butter till crumbly and then spread over apples. Bake for 45 minutes and you’re done

Apples in first. I used an apple slicer first and then peeled them and this seemed faster. I would suggest adding extra apples
